Slip

Slip % = (Theoretical − Actual) / Theoretical × 100
Slip is shown between 0–100%. If the theoretical speed comes out lower than the actual speed (which would mathematically produce “negative slip”), the result is displayed as 0.0% — this typically indicates tire growth, an incorrect tire diameter input, or measurement variation..

Instructions
How to Use
- Select a transmission preset and then a gear.
- Enter tire diameter and final drive.
- Enter engine RPM and the actual vehicle speed.
- Press Calculate Slip.
What It Shows
- Theoretical speed with 0% converter slip.
- Slip % (0–100%).
- Overall ratio (Gear × Final Drive).
- Wheel RPM with no slip.
- Speed per 1000 RPM.
- Slip-corrected RPM = RPM × (Theoretical / Actual).
- Required overall & gear to achieve current Actual at 0% slip.
Notes
- Decimals can be typed with comma or dot (e.g., 3,73 → 3.73).
- If Actual > Theoretical, slip is shown as 0.0% and marked (check inputs).
